Yeh, totally stock car. The reason why i ask is i know it be better to get a whole bunch of simple mods and then get a tune, but i dont believe that you can get a decent tune without dyno work if you have a modded engine... i guess the same can be said about a stock re-tune, but they were made...

Odd the the wires are disconnected?... but its a Clubsport feature.. so maybe the senders were'nt put in?... or the guy couldnt get the wires through the firewall... there is a spot high up on the pssenger side firewall you can go through... The steering wheel buttons... cant fix, need to replace.

The alloytec V6's have a difficult time sounded good... the only one good SV6 exhaust i've heard is a twin 1.x? inch and no reso, good cats, pacemakers headers, and no muffler.. sounded better than a V8.. almost... but otherwise... everything else... ****, drones like nothing else... custom is...

a V8 =P lol.. no when i had my SV6... i had a platora of ideas... but it all depends on budget and wants... you can go all out of supercharging... or go with a tune, and shift program?... research and enjoy... have a goal... more power, trackability... dyno runs?... what?

it'll be most likey the diff thats clunking, the tranny isnt the best either as is well noted, but aslong as neither are whining OR shuddering, they are reletively normal noises... my SV6 non-lsd had a diff clunk on take offs if i rolled back a bit before (manual) and traction control would...

you could get away with using some water sealing gasket, like you use around thermostat housings, might just be enough to clung the leak if it lines up just right.

did the car overheat when the pump shat itself? if you let it hit red without turning the car off, you may have bent heads or even worse, block... and possibly damage to the cam/rods... does the ticking over sound the same as it used to?

has anyone considered a hole in the fuel tank or a line? maybe your loosing fuel whilst driving, if your routine is the same that would explain the consistent loss at one theory... but its just an idea that hasnt come up yet?

From what i've heard, your best bang for buck would be just a shift point flash and an ECU flash for the engine... that paired together would be ace.

Getting it professionally done wont be thousands, and you could properbly get the bumper done at the same time... give your car abit of value back.

they dont need to be plugged in because its an extra loom, but you will get a SRS warning code throw at you.

Im pretty sure you might be able to get touch up bottles from Holden, but otherwise, goto an auto paint shop and they can make you some, but it'll probably be dear.

I've asked and had a look around, answer is simply... its hard... the looms are very different, and would require a massive splice job... but is do-able and has been done before on these forums... another route is to use the corresponding VY looms... but that is alot of work in itself... plus...

pinned, and may have partial sticky, but a good shop can weld and blend paint on top for not much money, depending on your sweet talking abilities

There should be a placard in the engine bay to the front right, looking down the car, it will have RPM's for man/auto... also will say so in the handbook.

anyone think this engine will be more free-revving?.. they've done wonders since the LS1.... the LS2 in the vz/ve's feels alot lighter under foot, but could be sportier if it had a lighter feel. though guess the car has to cater for more than the sport-blooded feel...
