Update for mine, after a few days of no change had a friend auto sparky have a look and straight away pointed out there is a leak on the ac compressor hose to the condenser, new hose ordered and hopefully should fix the problem

Thanks, checked the manual and done the actuator recalibrate without scan tool and unfortunately hasn’t made a difference, I’ll have to check with a friend at the dealership (ex-dealership) here to check for updates, at least I can get access to the GM tool

I think the extra plug would be for the Bi-modal intake on the SV versions and the GTS as they went to a electrionic controlled before the series 2 where the early ones were vacuum controlled

I'd make sure that it is fully latched if you are able to unlock it with your keys, I know my vf clubby will beep twice when I lock it with either the boot, bonnet or a door ajar

Yep they are the part numbers, still got the boxes and packaging, I got mine thru the local dealership parts department, pretty cheap if you ask me. The chrome surrounds were $19.50 each and the fog light covers were just under $17 each

Thanks for the info, I checked out the link, some of the parts listed come with the complete heater blower assembly from Holden, shouldn't be too complicated after pulling the dash apart and replacing parts then reprogramming, brother has a SSV same year and has had no trouble with his A/C.

Problem sound exactly like my problem with my march 09 SS, multiple times to the dealer for a/c problems and sure enough 6 months out of warranty it craps itself again.

I have found when you turn recirculation off then on and hold the button for 3 seconds it completely blocks the vent off for that use of the car, went and had a look around the feature is called pollution mode.

I had the same issue with my 09 auto SS and I found that the dealership didn't actually change my engine oil when I put in for it's 15,000km service, so 22,000kms on the oil that came with the car, no wonder i had a ticking sound, changed the oil and it went away, started coming back after...

I have had this probelm also in my SS, took it to holden and they changed the actuators - that didn't fix mine, they retuned it and then had to order a control module that ended up fixing it.

It will have AFM if it is a Auto
