Well, personally, I couldn't give 2 shits about anyone elses 'opinions' on what I do to MY car. It's MY car, MY money. I'll do whatever the f@#k I want to it. I would undoubtedly be against it, if someone were to put the whole kit on and then badge it as a HSV.

Have done this conversion to mine. I only did the senator rear to mine though, as it blends in nicely and doesn't stand out too much.

I'd still be taking it up with head office mate. Don't let them f#$k you around. Salvage Auto Sales up in Brisbane usually wreck a few late model commodores. They had a 3.6L out of a omega for $2999. That included the gearbox and complete conversion.

I suggest you speak sternly to Holden head office. I had a similar situation with Toyota regarding a failed clutch. Car had only done 15000ks and they didn't want anything to do with it. Called Toyota head office, and within a few days, new clutch was being installed for free..

I'd keep your SS for a little longer and wait for the price of the late 2008+ HSVs to drop. That way, you'll get the LS3

You need to have your guards rolled completely. By completely, I mean further then the guard rolling machine does.. And maybe have the camber adjusted slightly I've got 22s on mine with 295/25R22 rubber and it justtttttt fits.. You shouldn't have a problem with 255s on yours.

Hey bud, Yes, I would recommend it, alot better then the single spinner 2.92. I've got 3.27 in mine and it's really good, gets up and goes alot better then the 2.92, but makes 1st quite short. 3.45 should be fine mate. But when you do the swap over, you may need to change the yoke.
