Has any one else experienced this? My 2008 SV6 whilst driving/engines on and lights are on the radio intermitantly switches audio sources, and the air con turns itself back on if you turn it off......... Anyone have any ideas?

I need to change the springs in my wagon, as the mechanic told me one was rusted and damaged, he told me all i need to do is jack the car up, lower it onto some stands, let the diff hang down and "pop" them out and the new ones in. Is it this easy ? or do i need a spring compressor ?

Ive been to every single auto shop in my area, no one has fusible link wire, so im going to attempt to replace the fusible link with normal wire, and a fuse that is rated the same as the link wire, that way if it blows its just a fuse, not the wire. The wires rated to 20amp.

just a quicky, since bypassing the fusible link, my battery isnt charging ! Does the fusible link also go between the battery and alternator?

turns out it was the fuseable link it must give false reading when not under load. I connected a wire straight from the battery to the positive wire that goes into the firewall and got all my power back. NOw i jsut need to replace my fusible link, can you buy them for you car or do you have to...

The fusible link is all ok, tested it myself and took it to auto elec to test. he suggested i bypass the red power wire aroudn the plug that goes into the firewall, i went to do this, but it has already been done, and is gettin 7.5 volts. So power is gettin to the firewall. Now im thinking...

There is no fuse box int he engine bay, the only fuse i could find was next to the battery, and it was fine.

i did some digging and found 2 fuses under the dash under teh steering coloumn. One is blown they are teh cylinder tupe see through fuses, i will replace this tommrow and see if that helps!
