the reason why the oil life would not have been reset is because it is not used for anything in this market. it may be used in saudi or the us. the ecu won't do anything with the information and neither will the instrument panel. its just there. so holden mechanics don't really bother with it...

the eye level one is all leds. you can get the set of leds from holden, i think its about $70 or $80 just for the leds.

i would not advise it at all. why do you really need it off??? it won't damage the engine, your floor pan might get a bit hot, so will the cat (may melt?)

931's operating pressure is rated at 3.5 bar, which may impact how well they work. i think you can run well over the rated operating pressure and it won't effect the spray quality and operation. but im not sure when you run below the rated pressure what effects it could have.

no special tool needed, just use your wits and don't be rough, im sure vn & vp are the same. don't think there is a way to tell what rack is what.

i think vr & vs needs some sort of adapter, my vn has a vr wheel on it but i hav'nt taken it off yet. but i was in a commodore wreckers a while ago and they had on the shelf "vr steering wheel with adapter to suit vn" which caught my eye.

you are right, i have found that the front track is wider, you can change the rack ends over to make it fit but the gearing inside the rack is set up to suit the wider front track. i found this out by attempting to fit a vn rack into a vr. the rack ends were too short so i had to swap them over...
