    All the SV5000 engine got was cam and Piston's and they received HM headers and a different airbox . Heads and throttle body are the same as regular 5.0lt.

    Mate your throwing around some big numbers with your L77 give us the ones that count 1/4 mile trap speed otherwise its just bragging. Do agree with you about superchargers and heat soak, but turbo is where its at now even with the LS.

    Yeah that 6spd auto must suck some power. Ford did have overboost function, my F6 made 278rwkw stock thats gotta be 340 at the engine and only advertised at 310.

    On paper the LS3 has 304kw and they run up 220-230rwkw on the dyno Stinger makes around 230rwkw with only 272kw looks as if their under quoting power no's and shows on the 1/4 mile trapping slightly higher. Ford did the same with the FG turbo's & supercharged V8.

    VVT is a waste of time on single cam pushrod engine, this is done correctly when each camshaft inlet/exhuast advancing and retarding independantly of each other not like some tacky aftermarket kit.

    A short list of great turbo engine's over the past 25yrs tuff as nails, over engineered and do last and plenty still going strong today. Rb30t Rb25t Rb26dett 1 @ 2jz turbo Sr20 turbo Barra T I can't think of a N/a engine in a volume selling production vehicle that can match these.

    No matter how you twist your figures around Kia's engine is 200ci, just because its boosted capacity doesn't grow 2 1/2 times.

    Hate to say it you can't beat boost Stingers got 510nm at 1300rpm so clearly making plenty of low down torque, see if the LS3 makes that doubt it, my modded LS1 makes that but i have to wait for 4000rpm.

    I had the Pedders Touring grey springs in my VXSS with Monroe GT shorten shocks i found the ride to be very comfortable and smooth maybe a little soft at times but for street duties their Ok Your KYB shocks should be ok

    14.4 is slow cant be right. A well driven stock VF SS should see 0-100 in mid to high 5's and mid to high 13's sec 1/4mile, i believe a XR8 could see high 12's over the 1/4 mile stock Gt's have ran those times.

    Bit of a dip at 6000rpm maybe valve springs? not sure, the graph doesn't look right motor seems to make power very late and what Deuce said 3k and up would be nice. Who put your cam in.

    12.2@114mph is a good time, so your set up is ok at this level most Commodores that get into the 11's run higher mph than yours. With your old set up vcm21 390rwhp@108mph doesn't add up either, mph is way low, my old VX SS 249rwkw bolt on did 111mph. Maybe put the car on another dyno to see if...
