Penrite HPR30 20/60 in a VT Calais 5.0L with 270,000 km's have been using HPR 30 for the past 3 years and the car doesn't use a drop of oil between services. I've had a mechanic put Castrol? Magnateck in it once and it chewed it up! One and only time i payed to have it serviced!

Got a new HSV badge for the bonnet instead of the old lion. Makes the front look a bit better now. When i get the monaro bonnet i'll probably go no badge.

Decided to change the plastic guides that hold on the front and rear bars.. I'd ripped the bars off that many times in parking lots etc that the guides were bent outwards and the bars didnt sit properly :| Next is new rear tyres, Air-Con Evaporator ($875 - $700ish in labour), Monaro Bonnet.

Not sure for just the centre, but new LSD , New Gears , New Bearings, full rebuild cost me $1500. Best to change the gears from 3.07 to atleast 3.45 if you are going to be bothered changing to LSD.

Wagon example. Sedan practically the same. Been told to use exhaust tape on it.

You can pick up Nankang NS2 for as cheap as $150 a tyre for 18" Like Here. Payless tyres is where i got my SSZ Wheel and Tyre package from.

I dont see why it wouldnt work if you simply pluged the two wires for the hid into the globe plug :/ Maybe try it with the extra harness just hanging out of the car and temp touch the battery wires to the battery to test it.

Should be able to get Nankang NS2's for that size. I've had 2 sets of them on 16's and about 5 sets on 18's. (Yes i do alot of km's) They handle just as good if not better than Dunlop Lemans 702's that i tried once at $300 per tyre :|

JunBL / Magnaflow would be good for a rear sports muffler. The JunBL gear I had on my old VN sounded pretty good :)

If your VT has the standard 3.07/3.08 you can goto a 3.45 LSD diff with no worries. It only bumps the RPM up about 200 or so. I changed to 3.45 in my VT 5L Auto and do atleast 600km a week in 110km/h zones. Fuel useage went from 9.8L/100 to about 10.2l/100 other than that its perfectly fine.

Hold down the mode button and UP at the same time i think it is... It's either mode + Up or mode + Down.. I do it automatically without thinking :/ If it doesnt work first try, press mode untill your on the fuel usage / trip distance then do it again.

Sounds good. Which HID option did you go for with the H4? Xenon Low beam with Halogen Hi beam or both Xenon? They arent too hard with the standard lights just drill a 30mm2 (i think) hole in the back cover and your set.

Autobarn / AutoPro etc all stock them. Or online here Not all in the same car but yea they shat them-selves.. Motors / Electrics. They plugged straight into where my factory electric aerial went. Can't remember but there might have been very slight modification to the wires to get it to fit.

AP7 is the one for a S1 VT. I'm on my 3rd Aerpro one in 4 years :|

The local Autopro here has most of the holden dash lights in OSRAM brand. If they have ever not had one they have ordered it in. Globes that i was getting from holdens for $10 i now get for $3-4 :)

No they dont fit. They will only vit VT/VX etc SS seats. I bought the leather and was going to get the calais seats modded or buy SS foams but in the end I have bought HSV Coulsons and got them trimmed. Would accept $400.. They would cost approx $50 to post if not picked up. They cost me $600
