[Buick] Massaging a VR V6 throttle body

yep its good stuff. If you're like me and hoarde nuts & bolts & screws etc which rust over time.. pop 'em into a glass jar like a coffee jar or something add some deoxidine swish it around for 20 mins. Voila! almost brand as new again.

[Buick] Massaging a VR V6 throttle body

deoxidine 624 . It's a hydrocloric acid which when applied as directed treats the metal's surface to a chemical change. I'm not sure exactly of the process it undergoes but once it's done the metal will have a light-blue hue to it meaning it's neutralized any rust and 'transformed'...

    more stopping power

You're trying 'step by step' to polish a turd - it can't be done. All you're doing is rolling it around in glitter. If you want better brakes you're simply going to have to PAY for them. It's that simple. where are you from by the way?

Hey Hey It's Saturday 'Black' Red Faces - Racist?

yeah man. I'll go back to the 70's with a show called 'love thy neighbour' where the white man called his black neighbour '******' and the black man called the white man 'honky'. Everyone laughed it was all in fun and nobody got hurt. Compare that to the bullets and ammo from the yanks and...

    Society

a neighbor of mine complained about the smell of body-deadener drifting across two decent sized blocks and finding it's way up into his babboon nose saying he was gonna call the EPA because it's gonna kill the unlicenced birds he keeps. I said go ahead make my day lmao. Anyways i'm drifting, I...

    Brake fluid level question please

Definately top-it-up for starters. Pop into your local auto shop and they should sort you out with the fluid. When was the last time you checked? as your pads wear they move closer to the disc, and in that way some fluid takes up the 'slack' if you know what I mean.. so that would relate to a...

    Commodore values at wreckers

come to think of it I went to the wreckers two weeks ago I forgotten their name but it's a huge one in Deer Park, and they didn't even have one VN !

    Commodore values at wreckers

It's a crying shame. I suppose it's economics, they generate more income with the newer model cars and perhaps focus on those. Squished Calais ~ it's time to grieve.

    reset std springs

I reset my VN Calais springs two years ago, initially not too bad but more likely the lower centre of gravity bluffed me.. anyways, a few frisky roundabouts later proved to me at least the integrity of the spring has been compromised, unpredictable, and dumped them in a bin. Having said that...

VS Advice for a pensioner please

.. also if you're cashed up and while have your hands dirty consider buying a dedicated tranny cooler - which the tranny will enjoy - bypass the radiator when you fit it any future episodes of coolant/fluid mixing will be avoided. A little insurance and great piece of mind.
