Also mate if you have the wrong radiator cap the it wont suck the coolant back into the radiator from the recovery bottle when it cools down. It does take about a month for it to lose enough coolant to overheat. Check this.

There is a magnet in the timing gear that you change as well but you need to pull off the timing cover for that. Dont wreck your sump gasket when you put the timing cover back on!
