I've had multiple door rattles, found the issue to be the striker. I tried adjusting it with no luck. My solution for this was to add a little bit of spring wrap, no more rattles. Look at older model commodores, the striker had a black plastic on them, current ones are bare metal.

HSV headers a prick to fit... they're the easiest headers to fit! You don't have to remove the spark plugs, you don't have to disconnect the steering column. Try fitting some big 1 7/8" 4-1s or Tri Ys, they can be a prick!

I think it's safe to say there will be lots of unhappy "buyers" next year. My view, if Holden doesn't announce a desirable performance replacement for the SS models soon, those who miss out on cars next year will take their money elsewhere and not look back at Holden.

Bimodal doesn't cause the exhaust to crackle and pop. Sure it's fuel going bang in the exhaust, but it's the rear muffler design that plays the biggest role.

You can unclip the pipe from the bracket that bolts to the firewall, and make something to blank it off. Alternatively spend $30 odd for the blanking cover used on HSV.

Foot well and puddle lights are easy enough. I've made up a loom to run foot well lights in my car, just front for now. But wouldn't be hard to tap in and run an additional loom for rear foot well light and puddle lights. As far as everything else goes. You're out of luck, can't help there.

Both my redline and mums redline would start "funny" when they were new and hot, having been left sitting for a short period of time. But as time went on it's been perfect, hot or cold.

My car rocked up with 6kms on it, mums with 4km. Expect anywhere from 10-30kms IMO, having worked at multiple dealers the cars generally get taken for a quick test drive, or driven for fuel. Was always nice roadtesting new AMGs.

LS3 also has lighter valves with help it spin up that bit harder. I've done minor work to my VF2, but it's a screamer compared to my old 6L that had a lot of work done.
