Hey Guys,
My Vz V6 has to be sold but i cant get a legit RWC with the volume of my current exhaust system, so i need to swap it.
I have currently got a Stainless Xforce twin 2.5" system on there but with the twin high flow stainless cats and the pacemakers the RWC bloke just laughed at me...
Its a full stainless steel Xforce kit, it is 6 months old. With Stainless tips. Over in Victoria but. Its basically just run in really. Only a couple of little scrapes on it, could pass it off as new. I love it, boot the car and the general consesus from all my friends and judging from peoples...

ITEM: So here is the deal. My VZ V6 Sedan has a Twin 2.5 inch Stainless Steel XFORCE exhaust system that will go on a Gen V8. I am willing to straight swap this system (cat back) with someone who has the standard HSV GEN V8 Twin Cat Back Exhaust system. I am selling the car...
Dude i possibly have a twin 2.5 stainless system for sale cat back to the tips. Was siiick but little babies aren't happy being in the car with it. Offer?
Yeah man, tranny fluid can be a problem. Check it in park running, the red flip to dipstick on the drivers side of the engine bay. For starters the stick has all the info on it you need but refer your owners manual if you need to, also if the fluid is a brownie color you have prob burnt it...
Ahh well, placebo it be, i like it, perhaps now that the contacts are closer to each other could maybe cause the throttle body to open more at full stab with that extra play eliminated??? Who knows, just a thought....................
Did mine at full tilt, its great/fine. No worries or idle problems etc. I guess that $2 worth of petrol that i may losing every week at idle will add up one day....... IMO Personally the small benefits outweigh the small cons. If i was mega concerned about all issues thay may occur after i mod...
Had a mate come over to help me put a yella terra head and cam into my torana, upon his arrival i already had the bonnet up and was inside grabbing a coke, he promptly dumps his toolbox in the engine bay and comes inside, i grab 2 cans outta the fridge and hand him one as we walk straight out to...
Hahaha, yeah cool, good tip cause i probably would have, Im going for the blue dash in a blue car. Roughly how much was it in total man?? I wont hold u to figures, im just after a ballpark figure.
For Melbourne People. VZ V6 SS Inductions growler kits on ebay advertised at about $465, go to that guys website and they are for sale, direct, cheaper, pick up from Hallam VIC $450. Im sure he posts too for all you other guys. Not a bad saving.
Hey thanx, ive actually been around for a while and usually have done my own thing, engines, stereos and so on. im not great at it but im not crud either. Im not talking about top end stuff for the stereo mid range, blastin in the car, that'll do. The install itself is only costin me $400 (at...
I want to put a new system in my VZ sedan, Head unit, splits in the front doors, 2 ways in the back doors running off a 4 channel, 2 x 12's in a box in the boot running off a monoblock. Dont think i'll worry about the parcel shelf.
Preferrably all of the same brand be it Alpine or Pioneer etc...
Yeah man, i just did it to my stock pedal, just used that pic to display the black box assy, not the foot pedal itself. Take you 30 mins max start to finish with all fiddling involved. its a very small adjustment matter of 3-4mm play, just moves the chipboard a little closer down towards the...
Im a fan of no wing. Which is crazy cause i used to really like them. But now i find without is better. Find someone with the same colour car and ask them if they would like a rear wing, go the straight swap, boot for boot, real easy. sure the one with the wing is worth more but they are saving...
Can anyone recommend somebody in Melbourne who can do this for me? I want to put a VZ SS cluster assy in My VZ exec, i would like to keep/transfer my kilometer reading, positive it can be done. Would like the same menu options too.
I have seen the other threads but not much joy has been...
NVU, Genuine Holden parts to suit Holden Commodore VR,VS,VT,VX,VY,VZ,Monaro,Statesman,Utes and HSV
The part i am talking about is on the RHS of the black box (rhs reference is as if the pedal was facing down as installed in the car).
Sorry its all back together. I was talking about the side cover on the pedal box, remove the pedal box from the car via 2x 10mm bolts on the top and then unplug the loom. Take the pedal to a nice clean bench, the side where the plug for the loom plugs into the top is the side you are playing...
Well i saw what you guys were talking about, i found the Accelerator pedal worked best if you twisted it all the way to the right and then tightened the screws back up. this is with the whole pedal out in your hands face up. I almost went to undo the whole bracket monstrosity until i realised...
