just check your tag under the bonnet passenger side front look at where it says suspension should be stamped either STD or FE2 if FE2 you have the same as the clubie specs.

I have a Vx 2001(vu ute) v6. my oil light comes on (normal) than turns off when the ignition is turned on only (not when the engine is started) replaced oil pressure switch still the same. also my temp gauge stays quarter way on the gauge, sit in traffic goes to about halfway fan comes on...

P/car means police car had a vx had p/car on plate,extra marks on speedo reading Eg between 10 and 20 kilometers an hour it will have extra dashes 10ks 12 ks marks and so on plus it will have a chip on the computer and FE2 suspension. if this helps !!.

isn't the vx irs and the vp has a live axle. I would think they are different??

next time use 4 sided socket not the multi sided ones, and don't tighten the plug so tight. PS always use a new sump plug gasket, when you get a original oil filter the sump plug gasket comes in the box with it. or get an after market one. and you shouldn't have any more problems next time...

I'll be checking the brake vaccum boost assist for leaks!! include the hoses as well.

Just another spanner in the cog, how about checking the rear tappet cover seals v6 & v8 and valley gasket on the v8s i know the oil runs down at the back of the block onto exhaust when the seal perishes, some times you can't see it leaking. just a thought.

don't forget if you jack it up make safe with stands u have only one life

Hi there; does it have fe2 springs in the front if so what sort of money are you after and price to Brisbane qld. (if you are not sure look at the tag in engine bay suspension it will say fe2. cheers Brian

Hi everyone Found someone who has a tech 2 to reset my airbag light. he just pluged it in found what it was (high resistence on drivers air bag) than all he did was just reset it. all gone no more lights on dash and no more ding! ding! noise as well. happy chappy now :beer chug: cost $45.00.

hey guys had to replace my lock, went to the wreckers. The key barrel is part of the hole steer column so I had to buy the hole lot . easy to change but now air bag light stays on stuffen cars sick of them.

I beleive it's two months after that you must get road worthy cert to get rego renewed.

yes I have a similar problem low speed fan comes on when the air is on thats o/k. I've sat there with motor running and only the low speed fan comes on with air off. is this normal? so when does the high speed fan supposed to come on.( I have never seen it working or hear it come on) same as...

same thing happen to sons s15, what it was water was entering in the system where you use key to disarm if your car is getting worked on (the box under the bonnet to disarm with your alarm key) he had to replace this box cost was about $100 through autobarn. I hope this helped a bit.
