ok, I have a vq s2 caprice. on the front I have 225/50/16's on the rear I have 225/60/16's I can drive under 100klm/h all day long with no problem, no ABS error light. Within 1 min of driving at 100 klm/h, I get ABS error light. Match my tyre profiles back to 50 all round, No more ABS error.

i'll put money on it being a welsh plug. if the one leaking is in a spot that requires you to pull the motor out, you may as well renew all the rest of the welsh plugs whilst your at it. Factory ones are pressed steel and rust out when you haven't been using coolant. Replacement ones are brass.

sounds like the same clearance issue when fitting say VS series 3 caprice wheels onto a vn-vp-vg-vq. The bearing cap pushes the centre cap off the wheel. Some rims you can get away with flattening the end of the bearing grease cap cover.
