Got the car running on gas, my fuel pump seems to be faulty, possibly due to the fact that ive been running with low levels of fuel and its gone dry, im in the process of dropping the tank and replacing the pump now. might get myself a better pump this time, that one only lasted 9 months...

just checked the continuity on all of them they all seem to be working fine, my battery has died now, so ive had to put it on charge. i put in some new fusible links also just then. now its just a waiting game unless i can find my jumper leads.

you can get it properly repaired, i know theres some company, out in the western suburbs that fix it, mines doing the same thing, i cant be bothered fixing it. What i did was ring up Holden and they gave me a few numbers of places to call that fix it up.

i changed it to 3.8 haha how did i stuff that up. you wont be seeing it for a while its **** itself..... i just put superlows in the front get my licence back on monday and its fried. + im going to the footy today, so have to do it all tomorrow hungover.

yeah the 20Amp Engine fuse, its not blowing anymore it blew everytime the car started, now its not blowing and the cars not starting. im thinking the fuel pump could have been faulty but ive hardly used it as my cars a dual fuel and its mostly been on gas.

replaced earth cable, alternator cable is all good, the fuse isnt blowing anymore but the car still wont start. im just going to go buy new leads and spark plugs tomorrow see if that helps, any other suggestions?

heading to bunnings now to get all the replacement parts. could it be a factor that i had my battery filled with non distilled water?

yeah just did that, it stopped the fuse from blowing but the car isnt starting now, i noticed the earth wire from the battery started smoking as did the fuse at one point. so frustrating

okay coils and everything are fine ive found the problem, on the fuse box the 20A Engine fuse keeps blowing so theres a fault somewhere there any ideas? ive replaced it and it starts but then it blows after about 2 or 3 starts of the engine.

battery is charged and its not starting, i used my tester light on all of the fuses and there all good, im not sure hoow to check the bigger fuses in the fuse box. im going to go buy a multimeter now so i can check my coils etc.

possibly, ill keep an eye on the auction and let you know. my savings arent to big at the moment. also if you get stuck for parts, a mates dad is an american car and part importer.
