    Hello Not sarcastic. L98, otr, exhaust, tune will get you between 250-270rwkw, depending on dyno. Add a cam to that you can get anywhere from 300-330rwkw depending on cam and how good the tune is. My money is 310rwkw based on that figure being a common-ish figure for cam only L98's...

    You could plough $10k into it and still be slower than a Cammed up LS series of car. There is a solid reason everyone goes to V8 commodores to mod. Food for thought.

    Damn good value. Better than the Brembos, for a comparable price. The thing is, once you put 4 piston brakes, you will always think.....should I have gone 6?

    More air is good in every circumstance (excluding snow driving) until you put too much. The more air is bad, very bad. 36-38 Psi is fint. No need for more than 38, the air in the tyres will heat up as you drive, further increasing pressure.

    I missed the clutch replacement part in post 1. Sorry, was tired. It would then stand to reason then that the slave has gone down in the likelihood of busted component. If you take it to your mechanic and he suggests replacing anything, call Brad first and see if you can get a billet alloy...

    Yes, often the slave will be. But from your symptoms, I would say the slave is still the culprit.

    I doubt there's that many good L98's laying around, if you were going to do a Crate engine I'd go an LS3. Even then thats nearly $9k. VE LS3 6.2 LT CRATE ENGINE If not a new donk then you do have 2 other options; 1) Keep the Block. -ERL Resleeve to 427" - Forged internals. - Win ERL...

    Tyres - My 20" wheels at 32psi cold = 41psi hot. So buy yourself a small pump and pressure gauge, let the tyres down when you get to the track and pump them up on the way home.     The hunt for more.

    After porting the heads, you've really run out of easy options. Stoke, Turbo, Supercharge is your only option form there. Given the money you need to spend to turbo / supercharge, that could be used on other things to make your car go better. Brakes, suspension, wheels, diff etc.

    Redline Brembos are very popular now, and rightly so. Cheap and easy upgrade that gives the user good brakes quickly. I figure, if you're going to do that though, keep going and get the CTS-V 6piston Brembo kit. You'll love it as your passengers face plant the windscreen under hard braking
