well im an idiot, it wouldn't start due to the DFI PLUG (sorry, meant to say plug not module) and a few blown fuses. as i stated, im an idiot, feel like the biggest tool right now, going to go hit my head against a wall for the next few hours lol cheers anyway hako!

a little more info, it started, the DFI module was just sitting in place, but for some reason the fan stays on all the time and the dash still dosent work.

okay, well it ran better today, gave it a 10-20 minute drive, didn't blow smoke or use fuel excessivly. it must have used all the coolant, because it needed a fair amount to fill it up again. so you've helped me narrow it down to something cooling system related, gunna book it in and have it...

engine oil dipstick, should have been more clear about that. well the manifold gaskets been changed and i can see that coolant leaks from the outlet hose. the engine had a small misfire, then when i'd look at the distance to empty thingo it just went down, very quick.

It does use some coolant, mainly when sitting in traffic it get a bit hot, that might be a problem. It was sitting at under half when the smoke started.

another solution is to go through the boot, had to do it on the berlina, but i'm not sure if executives have the large fold down center section on the back seat. another solution is to get some WD-40 into the lock, after not being used for a few years they don't like the idea of unlocking...
