Hi all. Have an issue with my aircon loosing gas and the safety switch kick in and shuts off the aircon system. Its on a 09 SS Wagon. Have had it gassed about 5 or 6 times, hoses replaced. Cannot see any dye leaking from anywhere. Compressor is working well, all the o rings have been replaced...

I've got VF2 Redline wheels on my 09 VE wagon, had no issue with fitment.

I don't think it would work/fit with the rear brakes having the handbrake drum built into the hat of the rear brake rotor. I don't reckon it would sit correctly on the front hub. That's what i saw when i did the Brembo upgrade on my SS.

Apparently it doesn't fit. Well, for my situation anyway. Called pretty much every place here in Newie. Ended up getting the answer that VF2 Redline shocks/springs(FE3) wont fit my S1 VE wagon. Cheers for the reply's anyway.

Theres a bloke i work with who is doing coilovers on his VF and he's going to sell the VF FE3 shocks/springs, only done about 10,000ks. Can FE3 be fitted to a VE? Im guessing it can coz the shocks looking pretty much the same as whats on my car. I wana replace the suspension as im pretty...

Hey mate, i had the same issue last week. It ended up being a dud fuel injector, got the mechanic to replace the injectors and all sweet from there.

Had the same issue today but on cylinder 8. Throwing codes for misfire and injector 8 malfunction. I took it too my mechanic and they swapped out injector 2 with 8 and codes were thrown for cylinder 2. So, new injectors ordered and are being installed on Monday or Tuesday.

Here is my dyno sheet from my previous VE SSV. All i had done was OTR, exhaust and Tune. Didnt get the before sheet printed but i did get shown it and stock she put out 233rwkw's. After mods and tune i got 269rwkw's, with 351kw at the flywheel. That gave it plenty of pick up all through the rpm...

+1 for the OTR, full exhaust and tune. Brings the engine alive.

Hey mate, i did mine a few months back and put on a set of DBA T3 rotors. I have the handbrake off and still had to wind the adjuster back to get the rotors off. Wound them back out till they touched, then backed it off until it wasn't touching.

My previous 2010 Redline, i had my work done at KPM. VCM OTR, MAF tune and 3in xforce catback. Ended up 269Kw's at the wheels. Gained roughly 30Kw's over stock.

Hey mate, i did a IQ conversion on my 09 SS Wagon around March this year. I posted pics up of the conversion on here. Am very happy with it, haven't had any dramas with it playing up. I like the factory look. Happy to help out if you have any questions about the conversion.

I reckon it would fit. But the thing to look into is all LSA and most LS3 HSV's have bi-modal valves in the exhaust that are controlled via the computer/edi system that are factory fitted. That will be the limiting factor. If it was me, I'd get one off a SS or SSV. Kirbs

Not really looking to overhaul this engine, just want to freshen it up, the L98 has 210,000k's on the clock and would like it to run nicely for another few years without any major dramas. I don't have any plans to do any major HP mods to it, already have a weekend car with a decent cammed...

I saw a photo on gumtree a few weeks of a bloke doing the VF S2 conversion on his VE ute. Looked like a good job, all the panels lined up well. He had started to do the interior as well, thats why i found it, coz he was selling ve interior parts.

I've got a bloke at work who has just done some engine work on his VF S2 and is selling some LS3 parts and are all under 5000k's old. Is it worth putting in any LS3 valvetrain into a L98? Such as Cam, springs, lifters? My L98 has close to 210,000k's on it and am looking at refreshing the top...

I got my IQ unit and trims for $500 Patch harness, VIN program and HVAC mod done for $300ish. So all up around the $800 mark. Way cheaper than the kits on the net. Plus free labor coz i installed mine!! I still need a reversing camera to finish it off.

Hey mate. I did my IQ upgrade about 2ish months ago. I sourced a IQ unit from a wrecker with trims, etc. I got Ultimate Conversion Wiring to program my VIN onto it. then i installed it myself. Took a couple of hours to do, all works without any dramas, very happy with it...

At the moment there's a few set on Ebay from wreckers in Melbourne (Haden Performace Wrecking), They've got Front only and Front and rear kits off cars that have done not many K's. I bought a set of Front calipers with DBA T3 rotors last week, should be here tomorrow and I'll fit them over...

yeah mate. 19x8.5 front and 19x9 rears

fronts are 8.5 with 245's and rears 9 with 275's, heaps of grip!!

I picked these Redline wheels up for 1300 off gumtree, only have 5000k's on them. I went from 18's to 19's, think it looks much better with the slightly bigger wheels filling out the guards nicely.
