almost bought a vitara but then gave the Captiva a test drive. Made the vitara just feel so tinny and poorly built but i haven't actually heard of any real issues. RAV 4 was too small. CX7 or CX9 were spot on but cost was a little high at the time, they seem to have come down a bit though.

i use a cheap nasty d-link one (i think it was about $80 a couple of years ago) to route my dial-up internet from the desktop XP machine to my Macbook (no dial-up ability with the Macbook unless you buy the $100 modem). Apart from be a recipe for slow it goes well. Dunno how the cheapies hold...
