    Wiring and amp questions

Ok slowly getting there. I want to get the most out of my fronts so if I wire them in parallel and bridge them over 2 channels does that mean ill have 250w rms over my 2x110w rms (I'm guessing I just add them 220w rms) and then have enough power for them?

Rear speakers are in, the old ones where pretty much non existent they had perished that much. While the seats and parcel shelf where out I decided to pull the rear quarter windows out to re seal. The passenger side had screws that had fallen out so ran down to the wreckers to pick up another...

New speakers for the front arrived today, Alpine type R SPR-60C 6.5". Being 6.5s I have to modify the door pods to get them to fit right. Pretty easy to do, just cut the whole pod lip around the stock speaker sat. Only got the passage side in and did a little comparison with the driver side...

    VS brake light question....newbie

https://www.ebay.com.au/p/?iid=122462026820&&&chn=ps There is one here on eBay. There is a chance that that light might not be wired up, all depends on who put it on there.

It has already had that done to it. I picked it up pretty cheap so just going to cut my losses. Doesn't worry me that much, I'm just keen to be able to drive it around once the new TPS gets here. Done less than 50km in 4 weeks.

So 70mm TB has been introduced to the bin and the stock one is on. Now my TPS has packed up lol it didn't like being taken off and on. New one on the way. Buying a sandblaster this weekend and getting the engine covers and wheels ready for paint.

Put the old TB back on today, no more vacuum leak code. AHHHHHHH not happy. Inspected the 70mm TB and compared to the stock one the butterfly was a lot more ajar. Could this cause error 36 (vacuum leak)? Anyway fiddled with the screw, got a lot nicer idle but still have the code. Might just bin...

    Drive Pulley squeal

Put a socket on the tensioner and push it down, if you stand to the side of your car watch and see if the tensioner moves moves perfectly up and down. Iv had one that that pulled down on an angle and caused the belt to squeak over the pulley.

So today I did the old blow cigar smoke into one of the vacuum lines and look for where it leaks out. Replaced a few lines that looked as if they were leaking or just old. Still getting error 36 vacuum leak. not happy lol. I have been thinking maybe its the TB, because the new TB has been bored...

    96 VS Senator #690

Lim leak? I have sprayed the whole top of the engine lol. Going to look at the vacuum ball thing when I get time and make sure all the lines are right from that. I'm also going to put the old TB back on just to see if it is that.

    96 VS Senator #690

Still having problems with a high idle, error 36 showing (vacuum leak) I can't seem to find where it is though. Surly it has to do with the TB as thats the only thing iv touched. Starting to drive me a little crazy, iv been spraying WD40 around all the vacuum lines and can't get any response...

Still waiting on a new IAC valve, fingers crossed it come by friday. Bit ticked of for not noticing the nut that holds the cruise control cabe to the accelerator bracket was hitting the stopper on the TB.
