    could be a bad earth or spiked ecu try disconecting the battery and clean the earths and try that.

    are you losing water ? i would first try a new thermostat try to regulate the temp. If that dose not help it dose sounds like a blowen head gasket

    Help! I think I'm gonna buy an SS

    i got my ss last year it is a hot house green 6 speed. I have done a fuew things like clutch, rad and springs (it was on super lows i put it back to standard) but the car its self has given me no problems.

    well james with that many km it is well worth it i do around 30,000km a year and it is well worth it for me. just make sure you get an vapor injection kit you will have no power loss and i get 650km on the open road and 450 city with my ss. and its only $50 to fill the tank .

    i would take it to a gas place and get it serviced. they can retune it and increse the gas flow into the engine .

    if the key is not sending the code to the bcm then your car wont start is will kill injector paulse try drying the key disconect the battery in the car and try. do you have a second key ?

    i have had 4 cars now on gas my old vp had done 400,000km on gas and never had a problem . vapor injection is the best i run my vy ss on gas with no problems and my vy v6 also runs gas. i would recomend it for anyone who wants to keep the running cost but i would recomend vapor injection.

    remove the shocky from the diff then remove the lower arm of the diff side and the spring should fall out.

    is the water cold if it is it is coming fron the air con. nothing to worry about and no, there is no water going to the trans.

    Transmission cooler

    a transmission place will always tell you that you can never have too many oil coolers ! the biggest killer of transmissions is heat i would recomend getting one as the one on the car is not ment for heavy loads.

    low oil pressure

    i would put a guage on it and see what pressuer you are getting when the oil is cold ans when the car is hot and see if the pressuer drops off
