Just bought these 2 beauties from SCA, all ready for work on the 304 to begin. The HJ has been at my mechanic's place for a few months, but I've finally got around to seeing if they can get it running again to get it back to my place so I can start on the body work at least.

Ended up driving an hour & a half to Ipswich for a 304 out of a VQ Caprice, now to get all the other gear like box, inlet mani, carby, radiator, yoke, modded tailshaft etc etc

Called the wreckers today, reckons he doesn't know much about the 253 in the tonner they have there since the gearbox is sitting on the tray, but I'll go after work tomorrow and have a look and if it looks alright I'll see what he wants for it, hopefully not much since they're a dime a dozen...

My setup is fully engineered, the only thing I can get pinged for, is my pod filter (It's bracketed down, which gets me off the hook, but cops can prob still defect me for not having it boxed in if they want). I've never been defected over mine, I've never had my engine checked over by cops...
