Have you done the conversion Killswitch? A lot have told me it is possible, but I am yet to find someone that has actually done it.

There is a guy in Sydney that I know who can do the paddle shift conversion on the 4 speed auto. The Adventra only went paddle in the 5speed auto in VZ (I think). So I have considered this option, or manual conversion. Just not exactly sure yet. If I stay auto, it will need a gearbox rebuild...

Just swapped out the rest of the interior plastics. Was in a rush when I first swapped out all of the grey pieces (dash surround and around radio) for the Piano Black out of the Adventra. Finally got around to finishing it all off last night. Looks pretty good. The black shows up...

Hell yeah. While I was in there, we changed all the idler and aircon pulleys. Thought I might as well seeing it was all apart. Heading to the NT mid next year, so last thing I would want is one to fail out in the middle of no where. So it is all good now, she is back on the road.

Sure does, it really comes into its own at the S's at the end of the track. Feels like a sling shot launching you out of the corners. Do some searches, clubs run hillclimbs quite often. They close the roads here in SA for some road based ones though out the year. 3 Were sold new in SA...

hahaha NOPE!! :) She is a pretty good driver, but lost a bit of confidence after he had a small off and wrote off my daily. Been a bit touchy ever since. So hopefully this will spark her up again. The hillclimb is pretty safe and I am pretty sure she wont be pushing it hard at all.

You say that you had the center bearing replaced and then this issue started?? When I did the AWD conversion I had a massive thump/knock coming from the tailshaft under acceleration. It turns out there a quite a few centre bearings, all with different offsets to move the bearing position...

+1 for this.. Feel like a real twat, but I messed about for a good hour trying to get mine out. Swearing and carrying on. 13mm locking bolt underneath, loosened that and it fell straight out. :embarrass:embarrass

I have a mate who is planning an AWD VZ Monaro, but with supercharged V6 and paddle shift. Just because he can. It is certainly going to make people scratch their heads. It is going to look 100% factory. Should be a good jigger once it is done.
