Do you have an aftermarket sound system installed.. If so check the earth point are secure and on metal to metal + are not just tech screwed in place

my ss storm displays fuel used

I picked up my vf SS storm ute in perfect blue last Friday

does anyone know how to reset the fuel data on the VF's i only picked up my SS storm last friday cheers

i agree with surf wagon 100% although i replaced the centre bearing and all the uni joints just to be sure and found the uni at the diff end was virtually destroyed(SSL lowered in the rear)

the only difference between the standard ss wheels and the storm wheels are where ever you see black on the storm wheels, the standard wheels use gray

just got home from the local dealer(looking at buying an ss storm ute) and he said only 500 of each body type will be made will put pics of ss sedan they had in the showroom in a bit

first things first... check the condition of the diff oil(any metal particles or metal flakes in it and if bad replace it with a thicker oil. should stop the whine

has it only just started doing it?? get under the car and try and move your drive shaft up and down. if its got movement then the rubber coupling or bearings have perished

id say the rear subframe has shifted slightly. id measure from the centre of the diff to the wheel arch to make sure they are the same measurement

That was my next port of call... Re doing the intake gasket and checking plugs for signs of abnormality.... Ill probably order some new vacuum hoses or try and fix the ones I have.... Cheers RICEY (You legend)

Is the car auto or manual.. Did your step dad remove the battery terminal when disconnecting plugs?? I'd be looking at the neutral start switch on the shifter if its an auto

When was the last time you serviced the gas system aka gas filter and the like?? I'd be saying its maybe blocked as well as your electrical issue

I'd be looking at the thermostats. If they don't open and let coolant flow through the engine your car will overheat regardless of how tight all the coolant pipes are and how much is in them

The S series is the v6 and I'm surprised it's getting Down to 12L even... My sv6 is sitting on 15-16L (around the city and some highway) depending on how I drive...

Honestly mate its not even worth it... You will spend more money changing everything over and getting it all to work And you could buy a factory manual for less But that's just my oppinion At the end of the day it's up to you and not what everyone else thinks

Putting hub spacers will void all insurance... So I wouldn't recommend doing it at all I'm also pretty sure it's a defect/illegal if the cops find out about it

If your decent with a multimeter.. Check the resistance of the coils and if you get a high ohm reading then the coil is stuffed... Compare it to one of your other ones that arnt related to the codes you mentioned... Easiest way to do it is to test it
