Hi just purchased a vz commodore and when car is put into reverse it shudders left to right. Any suggestions what it may be??

Hi there wondering if someone could give me some advice. Just purchased a vz commodore and when the vehicle is placed into reverse it makes the car shudder sideways. I know commodores move up and down when put into gear. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
