Cheers for the reply, yeh shes a 2010 sv6 llt 250,000 on the clock, has new timing chains, new injectors, new coils, plugs and new genuine o2 senors fitted. Check engine light comes on while freeway cruising.

Hay guys had a check engine light come on and got a P2097-00 code which said its the crankshaft sensor incorrect signal now I have replaced the sensor but code comes back after a few days of driving. Also have brand new og o2 sensors, injectors fitted 6 months ago. Any idea what else to look...

Have the same issue, after brand new NTK sensors x4 , new injectors and timing chain kit and after 80ks code p0141-00 p0161-00 & p02273-00 came back.

Hay Rich did you sort out the sensor problem? I have the same issue as you right to the letter.

Found the problem was a faulty battery terminal, wasn't making contact properly which then had flooded it due to the poor crank.

Hi guys, after been away for 5 weeks went to start the ve sv6 and its cranking over but not starting, thought it was the battery but that's all good (red top optima) When you turn the key to start it keeps on cranking for a few seconds after the key has gone back too. Car was working perfect...

code reader on the way, I pulled the battery off the wife's and the engine checks gone.

will try it, going to get a scan tool just to read the codes if any.

Hay guys would you believe both ve wagons we have now suddenly have the engine check lights on :( Is there a way to reset it on the dash? both cars have had a service recently. Would a low oil level cause this?

Disregard the over speed bit, she set it wrong. Only the fuel gauge issue.

Hi guys my wifes sv6 has developed a issue with the fuel gauge, while driving it just drops to empty then we get the service warning (check dealer) Also the over speed turns alarm on at 80k even tho its set at 105k. Once you turn off the car and turn on its all good for a while. Any ideas?

we both have brand new air filters, yes both 2010, mine has 140,000 hers 150,000. Might check the throttle body.

deff not just Ecu adjustments, any one that's driven it says the same thing. Now the wife wants the same power in hers!!

Just by driving them both, its very obvious! way better acceleration mainly. Feels like the motors breathing better like with no mufflers on.

cheers mate will have a better look under them both. Would the exhaust alone make a big difference? There's not a big sound difference between the two.

hahaha no I didn't do that ;) If you look at the bendix pads I got they are the same profile both sides apart from two little pins sticking out on the outers . Most sets when you buy come with writing stating inner/ outer these ones had zero on them. We have contacted Bendix about the packaging...

I'm going to replace trans oil and filter, does anyone know which one is right for the 2010 sv6 wagon? there's a heap on ebay for so many ve boxes?

After looking at the different versions the otr version is the go but not for that crazy price!! Are they real? $560 plus for a hunk of plastic and a k&n filter!! $250 is more like it. I might make my own version ;)
