I had a VT V6 then VZ V6 now I have a VX LS1 and to be honest the ls1 was the best decision I made, fuel isn't to bad I get from 520-620kms from a tank and I just got it tuned today so we will see how much further I can get out of it. Like another person said own one will you can, it puts a...
We are having to raising our LPG prices at work. Supplier that we go through is charging us 89.9 cents so I see it going to 91-92 cents and a week ago we got a tanker for 75.9 cents. Its a joke.
Hey guys I am having a problem with my SV6. I have researched and researched but can't find an answer. Most of the time my car drives fine, but there is a couple of times where it hasn't. Driving a long it will suddenly come up with Check Powertrain Error and starts slamming into gears (jolts)...
Jesus that is a lot. I don't go passed 12.2. Mine usually sits on 10.9.
Mine once it gets to about half a tank it goes from 300km to 120km until empty, I have read here it happens to a lot of VZ's. :p
I got mine with 118k on the clock, so far I have given it oil change and a diff oil change which all up cost me around $120, it goes alright, I thought it would have more of a punch. Make sure all the servicing is up to date and accounted for, and do a revs check on the car.
I was in your position when purchasing my VZ, I was looking at a BF Fairmont, which was a bit more expensive but it would loose its price faster. I personally wouldn't get one with 200kms, but if you do make sure it has all its servicing done and is up to date as I am sure you would.

I don't use mine very often but I use it for one road (its called the ridgeway OP might know it), where there are post holes everywhere at night its easier to see them if I have my fog lights on as I am only going slow and can miss them. But other than that no I usually just keep them off.
Bit expensive but think they will eventually come down a bit. They don't look as good as I thought they would.
They look pretty good, I am thinking about doing something like this to my car.
