Hey As far as I know they dont do that kinda stuff for the VL dude. The closest I have heard is calais lights front and back, I think thats the extent of VL light mods :unsure:

have a quick look under the throttle body and see if its there. just follow the stainless steel pipe from the radiator and round to the back. you should be able to see it there. Im just about to go do mine now and thats where mine is!!!

I just had the same problem with my heater core in my VN. I fixed up the clip at the heater controls, replaced the actual core bout 3 months ago and nothin seemed to work. I changed the thermostat an found that it was jammed open so the engine was running near on dead cold for the first 30 mins...

I went an filled up the tank last night with Vortex.... an within 30k or so after the last drop of regular unleaded went through it ran sweeter than it has before ( first time on premium!!!). I could have balanced a 20c piece on the throttle body!!! I havent experimented with others yet but pay...

this VT clubsport kit sounds interesting but can it fit onto the VN without looking like its just a cut'n'shut job off a wreck??? being that the VT does have completely different guards to it. Nope, the VN has the crease above the rubber strips, runs from front to back whereas the VR & VS have the rubber mould an thats it. to make the front look like it really is part of the car the crease would have to be bogged or welded up. that and a chip should get u moving pretty well. there are ones you can reprogram to accept more fuel an gearbox shift points if need be.

If your serious then go roller rockers, stage 2 cam, flat top pistons, bigger injectors & fuel pump, big air flow meter.... the list goes on but for decent price decent improvement go the above suggested mods. Have a look through some old mags, I know street commodores had a VN V6 project going...

That was my initial thought so when I put the heater core in I put a new thermostat in as well but the old one was pretty new. The only time the temp gauge moves is in heavy traffic or in Mcdonalds drive through where the car is at idol for the next 40mins.... thats if u even get srved by then...

As you probably heard canberra isnt the warmest place around an good heater is ideal..... only mine is working fine an its a 3 month old heater core. :ranting: does anyone else have the same problem with the VN heater???

How does it look though???? does the body actually look right with it??? I was thinking of putting the VS SS bumpers on my VN last year but never got round to looking into it. Just thought that with the crease in the side of the VN & VP it would look a little bit like a hooker in kings...
