I have a stock vy ss cat back (twin 2.25) on my vz sv6 with stock cat's and extractors. i have a nice note and no drone. it's never gonna sound like an 8 if that's what your after. do the 2 hole mod and you'll get a nice growl under acceleration hth

go to an auto sparky with a tech 2 and scan for fault code's will tell you what cylinder's coils need replacing, but if one or 2 are buggered other's wont be far so may as well do all 6. no point doing the same job twice

it'll be coil pack's had a similar problem on the wife's vz wagon, it was miss firing and shuddering on hard acceleration but drove perfect when driven gentle. replaced all coil pack's and problem was gone. also replaced Co2 sensor as it was faulty

boot festoon is the same as your glove box and rear curtsy light's. also if your putting led's in the map light's you need to reverse the polarity there is a thread on here how to do it. took me about 5 min to do.

once you have clipped the light unit out give it a slight twist and then pull outward (same process as side indicators) globe will pull straight out of housing. globe type is T10 HTH

I already have lsd in mine. What's the advantages of having different gear ratio? Quicker acceleration or more top speed? The diff is out of an auto vz ss

I don't know if i'm going to keep the ss gear ratio tho. The gear ratio only changes the rpm to speed doesn't it? I have an auto 5 speed.

Cheers mate so the yokes should be the same being both from a vz? Not sure what gear ratio is as waiting on the bloke to message me back. It's just a stock vz ss diff. What is a good price? well thats a load of crock I have ve ssv 19's on my vz with king sl springs and tire's are 245/35/19 and have never scrubbed and I dont have rolled guards, willing to take photo's if needed HTH

the globe's on them are leds not hard to change/replace if your handy with a soldering iron
