what strange names have you called pets or dolls/teddy bears/toys?

I called my teddy bear (years ago people) "boy". I thought Boy Bear was a cool name.

we had two cats ... one called mittens ... the other one called poof (not discriminating anyone, but going poof in a cloud of smoke was what it was named after)

we have a pure bred boxer called Mack (Mack Trucks)
Mack's brother was called Monty (after the movie the full monty)

We have a cat now called oreo's (to this day i dunno why)
we have a cat now called Tibby (reason ... well there is none)

next cat we are going to put block letters from A-Z infront of it and let it choose its own name

The best name for a teddy bear I ever hear was wubbadin.

My mate got it when he was little, because he had cream that he needed to rub in. His mum told him to "rub it in"...

I have a penguin called Pengor, and a Teddy called Ted. Pretty creative, huh.

I called my cat moushtapher guaquamedes junior. Why? I dunno. Sounded better than fluffy or tom or somethin like that..
A friend had Deefer (D for)4 the dog and seefer (C for)4 the cats name....

Had a pet bird years ago (I think a finch) called Horace Mugglywumps

Also had a pet rabbit for quite a few years called Beavis Butthead because when he was young he used to butt his head into peoples feet or hands to get attention..

Funniest thing was getting the vet reminders in the mail for his injections and nail clippings and of course they were addressed to Master Beavis Butthead...

She's now been replaced with my VY and is sitting in the street waiting for the wreckers to come get her.

My dog's called Tui - after the New Zealand bird and beer.

Dunno how that happened. I should ask my oldies what the story was.

and now i have two Staffie's... one female, "Zoe" and one male, "Ziek-Ryan" and i want to get two new kittens and im naming them "Turbo and Throttle"

My son had a tickle-me-elmo called 'Uggim, took us ages to work out why he called him that.... finally worked it out, we always said "go on, hug him...." lol


Errr Cat called Tiddens... no idea why... had a british bulldog called 'Chopper' after the british bulldog from Bugs Bunny cartoons.

had other Cats called Bullet, Miss B, Mushu & a Dog 'Zuess' (sheppard if ya cant guess lol)


My friends had a dog called 'Bud' cus found it sleeping in their 'Garden' when it was a pup.

Other friend had a lamb called cornelius & my grandparents had a goat called GEEFOR (G for...)

Also horse called ollie - short for Oliver 'Please sir can I have some more...' cus it always ate....

My dog was named Tank too cause he used to crawl up peoples legs..

All our other pets have been so un-original.. Dog called 'puppy' Budgie called 'baby' Cocatiel called .. yep.. you guessed it .. '****y'

Rabbit called 'rabbit' Guinea Pig called 'Guinea'.. another dog called 'chew'

Oh yeah we were kings of pet names.

i have a kitten called Pickles dont ask why coz one of my exs named her.
got a horse called MR Ed (how original) and one called Jack Daniels (my old man named him coz he use to like Jack Daniels) and a canary called sprinkler coz he used to make a weird noise like a sprinkler. and we have an old family cat called lazy coz he sleeps all the tyme

current animals are jimmy the german shepherd coz i use to live off bourbon. shyla the pit bull not sure why, gf's idea. a horse called muppet. and two rats called george and bruce.

oh and i had a turtle called Turbo but we gave him to my auntie and he died 3 days later
