Went shopping at safeway today, the eftpos machines were offline, the checkout chick (who looked like she'd been 10 rounds with a bigmac and won), put the sale thru the eftpos 3 times, last try it worked but the other 2 times it went thru as well. Found out when we got home and checked visa balance on the puter, even though the register docket showed the first 2 sales as cancelled the machine caught up a bit later on and processed them, now I have to travel back 40k's to get a refund for $600, will ask for a bit more to cover fuel costs.

Politicians irritate me. Every one of the buggers I have ever met has just given me the shits. The stuff that the federal bunch are getting into at the moment is bad enough, now in the quiet little town I live in something is very rotten. A while back the state government amalgamated the shire I live in with a shire to our west, basically they took the poor halves of each shire and smacked em into one "super shire" yeah right, super badly managed is all. So next year rates are going up by close to 20%, the local swimming pool is being closed and get this, they're cutting fire brigade funding by close to 75%! As a volunteer fiery this gives me the royal shits, looks like all up we're gonna get $55,000 to maintain the 106 fire vehicles in the shire for the whole year. 518 bucks per vehicle, we stake a single tyre on the fire ground and the budget is blown. The baseline funding is supposed to be around 2 grand per vehicle dammit! it makes no goddamned sense! Now, not only are these morons expecting us to cop an increase in rates for a decrease in services, but they have disallowed us from doing certain hazard reduction burns because one solitary idiot complained about the smoke. What's the bet that when the tip catches fire again (because we're not allowed to burn the greenwaste any more) this knob complains about the greenwaste being allowed to reach such a dangerous fuel loading?

This is just a sample of what politicians are capable of at a local level, so is it any surprise that our state governments are full of deceitful lying scumbags and the federal government seems to be taking orders from Indonesia!? Dammit we'd be better off voting for trained monkies.

im new here but anyway *start vent MY car is screweeeeed (enigne mounts dead, rockers dead, power steering dead, nearly hit a bunch or roos on a gravel road the other nite and slid out into a ditch and my car got damaged being towed out (zorst got bent up PAST diff, busted bumpers, hood wont close, think fuel lines ###akeed and worst of all... i got breath tested cuz i had to call the cops (i was in mid of nowhere) and blew 0.0013 (im on my p's) then had to go back to the cop shop to go on a diff machine that they DIDNT DIRECT ME HOW TO USE and now ive got a DUI charge of .15+ and failing to give a sample of breahte. basically 2k+ bill to fix car and have to go to court juz cuz some useless f***wit of a cop wouldnt show me how to use sum stupid machine. *end rant* p.s it just had to happend juz after i turned 18 aswell
