I miss my car already :(

well i dropped my vr commy down to get painted yesterday at 2pm, i was missing it by 4pm , i dont know how im gonna survive for a week without it
how can pplz do it loosing licences etc for 3-6mths etc. whats the longest time you have had your car for? and bad were you missing it

i went a fortnight without my car when i had the xf, was getting a bit of bodywork done after some stupid fool who couldnt speak english sideswiped me in a 4wd and tried to blame me for it! ### off, i aint coppin that shit!...lol.
needed a new back passenger door, quarter panel, paint n shit...was carless and had to resort to public transport for 2 weeks...

yeh i just sent the bloke the bloke the invoice...he didnt wana pay so i went nutz and threatened to take him to court and destory him, i got the cheque the following day was about $800 worth o damage, and the bloke who did it is a family friends so he got off lightly i reckon...

I know your pain mate. I dropped my commo in to get the front and rear bars replaced and it was: "will b ready in one week", "will be ready next week",

"will be ready soon". Seven weeks later, finaly got her back. I got so pissed off every time they said "almost done" I could have cried. So I hope you do get it

back in a week. Post some pics when its done though.

Longest two times I went without my car was when I went to Recruits for the RAAf (3 months) and second time was when I went to Iraq (4.5months).

i didnt have my vn for 2 weeks, a week it sat in the driveway then a week at the mechs...but the mechanic got me mine back on the deadline he gve me which was good ...

at the moment im love sick haha, havent spoken to my woman since last friday lol...

hah, i dont miss it as much any more if i dont get it back by friday thsi weekend will kill me.... i had a look at progress on monday, they were doing the primer at that stage.. few little dints taken out, and they said there was no rust at all , im leaving her compltly debadged too, and the side door strip/mould off too.. shoudl look good i think

when i had my vp i missed it when it was stolen, i didnt get it back till a month later when police found it, such a shitty feeling , looking out the window to find ur car gone cos some lowlife stole it, then finding it looking nothing like it was before(found it with my mags gone, smashed window, all interior ripped out all over the place), i tell u now when i got that car back it was never the same,they thrashed the shit outta it as i saw lots of rubber up in the rear right guard. I would never wish getting their car stolen upon nobody apart from ppl who steal cars, which i wish they were locked up for life!!!

Going on 18 months now, and about 3 months before that, it was 6 months, but i drove the balls off it for that 3 months lol

I still go to see my car every few days, shouldn't be too long now.


Ironically, my 'other' car is also at the same place getting a motor conversion, so i'm without both my luxury cars so i have to drive a poverty pack VL for a few weeks more yet.

my friend was caught booting it around a corner by the cops and he lost his licence for 3 months. that majorly sucked for him anyway all he could do was polish his car >.<
