I havnt heard about these before but my brothers mate works in dyno tuning, and specialise in thisetype of things where it is hooked up to the fuel line and it adds additives to the fuel which are good for a few k/w but only last a certain amount of time before it needs to be replaced.Originally Posted by KingDiamond

Don't get me wrong, I was suspicious as much as the next guy regarding these. But this thing worked. I can get 20-30kms more per tank after fitting one of them (supposedly for v8s it's recommended to fit two). Make sure you get it from that very ebayer, the magnets are indeed very strong. Not much gain but hey it's a difference between running out of fuel on the side of the road and cruising comfortably while looking for the next servo. Good enough for meOriginally Posted by vn6pwr
And no, I'm not driving it in a different way -- it's standard Sydney start/stop rat race...
I wonder if you get the can of coke with it. Sadly id rather have that than the car.Originally Posted by slundy
And the first one, with sex appeal. I find unvacummed carpet and dents real sexy! Maybe I can add those feature to my car. Anyone got an unavoidable pole laying around? And he blamed the wife *shakes head*~

why wouldnt you pay 8g for it? hell yeh i would and the first thing would be to do an engine conversion, as if a wh stato isnt worth that without the engine / gearbox... my old man bought a genIII WH ,leather int and it is bloddy nice! for 20gOriginally Posted by MikesVT
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
ummm after that many k's wouldnt everything be falling apart?Originally Posted by 87rb30devil
Yeah true, not just the engine, but suspension etc etc etc etc etc. And theyre not worth that much anymore... escpecially compared to the same model same year, v8, with leather, less 345862km (12 years of extra driving at an average of 28000kms per year) in the same yard for only 4g more. That v6 stato should be about 5-6g's max
