worse night
So I got a train ticket last nite. 1 offence for having feet on the seats and 1 for having a concession ticket without card. $150 each offence.. thats $300! My mate also got one. Dunno how im gonna pay that.. put a massive downer on my night. Funny thing was i was going to buy a normal ticket but was liek 20cents short. Ive learnt my lesson

yeh i really should have done that.. you really dont think at the time.. but it wouldnt have made any difference cause you literally rang up some one and did a learners check on my information to check that i was giving them the right information. never knew they could do that. it was frankston.. i could say i got mugged and perhaps had my identity stolen haha doubt thatd work

I had the same thing.. feet on the seats, and I was running late, bought a ticket but didn't have time to validate, and the bitch ticket inspector had seen me run on the train without validating and gave me both tickets 2. Over 300 bucks, it sucks
How shit is it! Well funny this thread would open right now cause i got my ticket in the mail just yesterday..but its only for 150.. and not the 300 i was expecting.. but im thinking of writing a letter to them saying that i live in a country town, never take the train and was told a student card would be good enough by my school. i really dont think it will do much but its worth it i guess

haha ye ticket ppl are f*cked! ive been done for the whole feet on seats thing 2 many times... gave fake name a few times but sometimes they wanna call someone... u fully have 2 make sure they dont see ur purse/wallet, phone etc so u can play the fake name thing... even then they can get nasty...

The one time i caught a train some freaky homeless dude came and talked to me... i didnt like that at all.. scared the shit outta me.. i thought i was going to be abducted for sure.. And i slept on the seat (after freaky guy got off) and some security chick just woke me up and told me not to sleep as i would miss my stop.. didnt fine me thou.
LOL you wont get fined for sleeping on a train if you dont look homeless
if that was the case they would go nuts on any train from 3 onwards till about 7 with all the ppl coming home nodding off

You can write a letter of apology and get out of most fines, especially if it's your first time. Heaps of people I know have got done for feet on seats, no ticket, and no consession card and every time (in vic) they have gotten off by writting a letter. It's worth a shot.
