If you still have a resonator on your exhaust, cut it off!

Wow! I got the resonator cut off my VR V6 yesterday and boy does it sound nice now, no droning or anything! She really barks now, and I would go so far as to say it sounds like an 8! With the res it sounded deeper, but without the res it sounds mean and loud!

Problem is, that its illegal and if the EPA find out, your in for a BIG (and l mean BIG) fine!

had a 2 1/2" mandrel system on my old VN V6 w/o resy. Sounded gr8!

Yeh thats my set up but I have 2 1/2" mandrel system from the cat back with no resonator with a 3" tip

No not stock exhaust, with a 2.5" catback I mean.

No extractors, stock cat, still sounds mean!

yer i got 2.5'' catback with just one muffler no resy and it sounds nuts
