How do i fit the strut brace??

Hey i got a 99 vt executive and i bought a struct brace off ebay for $59

and on my vt there arent any9 bolts to bolt it to
heres a pic

My mates vs has all these nuts there in the same spot as the holes on strut bar and all other cars i see have them too except mine? do i have to get them drilled or something?

Mine hasn't got any holes either so I guess you will have to drill holes.

Yep you'll need to drill holes. Be prepared to drop the shockies a smidge to get under there

do i have to put in in a specific spot or just make sure the bar is straight and mark and drill?

should i get a mechanic to fit it

Fit it yourself

Line the brace up and mark the holes with a texta - get a mate to hold the other end in the correct spot, so as the brace won't move and you mark it wrong

Have been told by pedders that struts will have to be removed to bolt on the strut brace, cost for them to do is approx $250.

Had one fitted last week, whiteline strut brace. Definately needed the car hoist to complete the job.
HAHA i agree retards, i was thinking that when leaving the pedders shop.
