remember thats only for donating members regular member is smaller than that

Hey ive set my profile picture and its in the size requirements (34kb) but it wont show up next to my name on threads, on my screen anywayz. And also when somebody replies to my post, i cant see it on the thread, it still has just mine

Does anyone know how to sort this out?

Hey yeah i have the same problem. My picture is under the dimensions limit and its like 40KB but it wont show up. And no i havent donated any money, im new to this site

The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB.

It says this when you are uploading the file/link for your new avatar from your User control panel.

Oh really? Because on the edit profile picture bit it says in brackets under the browse thingy
'100 by 100 pixels or maximum of 46kb, whichever is biggest" or something like that.

If its like 19kb, how would i make it smaller? Would changing it from jpg to bmp or something help?

If you use photoshop, use save for web option.

Otherwise no idea. Google it?

i saved the picture as a smaller size rather than its largest size, and it says its 9kb now so im hoping it worked. We will see when i post this one now.

If not i will just edit it or sumthing

Hooray! I know what i was doing wrong now, its kinda stupid haha

I was on the "profile picture" which isnt the pictute shown when u post

Just went through the profile and realied the avatar is actually the post picture. I just thought that was like some animated guy lol - all thanks to xbox 360 for confusing me
