i think having the option to ask prople to make an offer on your part/s isnt right.
seems that alot of people put that up to try to shaft uneducated members.
why dont we make it like the other forums where you must state what you want for your item otherwise it gets deleted.
on another forum i visit its a rule that you must have a pic of your item otherwise your thread will get wiped..
thoughts?
I have to agree with this. Photos of the exact item your buying as will as a listed price.
If people want a best offer, it should be on ebay.
Will throw a topic up in mod forum regarding this.

thanks minux.
i think it will really improve the for sale section.
these rules wont apply to the wanted section i take it?
Unlikely, hard to put up a photo(condition wise etc) of a part you want![]()

Im for it as well. Too many shifty souls around.
hhhhm - I got photos of the item - paid money and still no contact other than "the item will be sent tomorrow" That was 2 weeks ago. The thread now has a warning on it that the bloke has done a runner with a bit of cash.....

Not good man. Well this has my support on it aswell, you NEED to know what you're buying because 'good condition' in someones eyes is completely different in another.
and you can have some sort of proof that the seller actually has the item listed.
i sent cash to s.a for some injectors and a memcal and the bloke never answered my calls or texts after i told him the money order was in the mail and thats the reason i thought it would be good to have these rules in the for sale section.
i got my injectors within a few days btw but i was worried i got ripped
I think maybe filling out a form or something online, just stating that buy posting this you are commuting to own/ be selling this object or something, and having to prove your identity some how. Would make it hard for someone to make a quick buck. I understand it'd be a bit if work though.
ill look into the changes sugested over the weekend, my concern is the photo part, not eveyrone has a digital camera, or a phone that takes photos, so all other conditions yeah, photos, not to sure yet.
either way ill check it out this weekend.

I would think in this age of camera phones and cheap compact cameras, most people would have some way of getting a picture up. It wouldn't have to be one of Minux's photo shoots, but even a dodgy 1MP camera phone is better than not.
I also think people will find themselves selling a lot more with pics, if eBay is anything to go by.

Have to agree here - take a pic of what your selling or dont bother trying to sell it at all.
Pics copied from the net wont cut it either -the picture must be of the actual item being sold.
I still dont understand how people that list items like cars expect to sell them without any pics at all.
It isnt hard.
will this only count for best offer?
what about ONO (or nearest offer)?
i find best offer a waste of time, the seller is just saying they will take this much but will take more if your willing, get on Ebay for that crap
allow ONO as for one like me im wreaking a car which the price im not to phased on, on most parts i would like 20 but hey if someone say 15 i wont say no

+1 from me too. And especially the photo bit. Also agree with the "online generic photo rip" pasted in dosnt cut it either.
The f/s section is free and i recon the rules should be adhered to as far as its layout so it keeps it easy and tidy. If people dont then the thread should be deleted as it costs them $0 to make a new proper thread again.
i agree and think its a great idea
i'd have to agree 1 i wont buy anything unless theres a photo and 2 its a pain trying to get a price off some people specially if you dont know what its worth
