Deleting pictures in locked threads.

How can i delete a pic from a locked thread as it was a larger file and chews up a lot of the attachment limit?

Hit the triangle next to the post number to report the post, and ask a mod to remove the pic.

Alternatively you could host your photos at somewhere like photobucket, and never worry about attachment limits again

You can also edit your attachments through your usercp

tried that but if the thread is locked you cant edit your post.

He means in your user CP, then manage attachments, then you can remove the picture.


Click User CP, then on the left options, right at the bottom is 'attachments', then just find what the attachment is, and check the box on the right, then 'delete selected' on the bottom right.


I still like the hosting option if your worried about space (i looked in my attacments and i've only posted like 10 images in 5 years haha)

Thanks again, i tried but the option to tick the pic in the locked thread isn't there. I have sent it to the mods, we'll see what happens. I am starting up the photo bucket thing atm but attachments are good for a quick post.
