Pictorials

I was just wondering what everyone thought about putting in a specific area just for pictorials! I mean i would like a section where if there is a thread about a repair and pics can be provided then there all in the one spot. And people can add to these just like normal. Things like doing a throttle body clean, self diagnostic connections and how too's etc.
If there was a section just for this it might encourage people to do more of this when doing a repair. Plus we might be able to put a section with parts showing what they look like and where they are located. If i had my camera working then i would have taken picas of how to replace inlet manifold gasket, cleaning PCV and small things like replacing fuel filter etc
It was just a thought any feedback would be cool!

Not entirely sure how your suggestion would work, but if u have a look at the how to section there are plenty of tutorials with pics that people can add to, is that along the lines of what you were thinking?

Yeah exactly sorry for not being very clear, but anything that can have pictures added to the tutorials in one section would be great. I meant something more along the lines of somebody doing a basic thermostat change over and taking some pics while they do it to show the less mechanically minded people how to do it. I just thought that somebody would probably add more and take the time to do it if there was one particular section for it!!

That's certainly possible, the only problem is when I did my stuff I didn't have access to a digital camera. I did do a how-to with pics for the brakes I thought although I know I have one for the alternator which hasn't yet been done.

If someone does do one of how-to's and would like to popup some pictures to go with it we'd be more than happy to add them in.
