Quotes in signatures

Okay, not looking for a whole lot of flaming...
can anyone please tell me how to get a quote into your signature?
i dont just mean

this in my sig

i mean like...

originally posted by... etc etc.

Find the post you want. Click quote as you normally would, then copy what is in the text box. Go to "edit signature" in user cp and paste it in there. thats how i did mine.

With square brackets obviously
