New Trading area changes

Just so people are aware, due to feedback from many users, we are now moderating all new threads.

This means if your threads do not have this format for car sales:

or this format for Part sales:
http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...-template.html

then it will be deleted without any warning.

So before you all send a pm asking why your thread hasnt been approved, this will be why.

The wanted to buy section will be moderated, however, there is no set thread layout.

As a last rule, anyone chatting in trading post will be given a warning via infraction, next time it is done they will be moved to a group who does not see this forum until further notice. We are trying to keep this area a place to sell cars etc without prospective buyers trawling through pages of smoke/arse/blowing posts.

as with ebay, and most every other trading site/avenue, the onus is on the buyer to determine whether or not the price is reasonable to what they want to pay. if the seller wants to try and stinge more money from someone, theres nothing stopping them, they just might not find a buyer very quickly. if you want to tell the seller what the going price is, send them a pm as vy_storm said.

jesterarts should have given you a one point infraction, instead he did the nice thing and just gave you a warning.

I know quoting an old post, but there is a template, theres on in each of the 3 sections, stickied at the top. Use the relevant one to what your selling/looking to buy

As I said in my PM to you Dan, a buyer will only pay what they think an item is work.

If I want to, I can ask for $1,000,000 for a half eaten cheese cracker if I so wish.

And if someone is willing to pay it, that's their problem.

If you have an issue with a a price of an item, PM the seller or if you feel a buyer is getting ripped off then I supposed you can give them a heads up too.

But unless you are making an offer on an item or asking a specific question about an item.

Keep it out of the trading post.

WTF? Last I checked we were in a free enterprise economy and price fixing except in some instances is highly illegal. The seller should be free to ask as much or as little for whatever they are selling that they see fit. If you think it's too expensive then don't buy it! What business is it of yours to **** over somebody Else's add?
