    Default Smileys in Quick Reply

Can this be put in the Quick Reply toolbar? Would be handy to choose emoticons without having to "Go Advanced". I know the idea is to keep the toolbar small on the Quick Reply, but this seems about on-par with images and bold/italic etc to me?

I'm talking about this thing in case I'm not being clear:

danja, why not just remember the shortcode for them and type them in manually?

Fairly certain they cant be added to quick reply box without major vbulletin recoding

JC didn't code the forum software. it's provided by vbulletin. if vbulletin doesn't have an option to add smilies to quick reply then someone would have to code that functionality in manually. i don't think any of the mods/admins are php gurus.

I've never used the VB admin, so I couldn't say for sure how easy it is, but other similar web-based tools I've used let you customise toolbars pretty painlessly, it's usually just a setting somewhere - takes all of 5min.

As for just memorising them, sure, I know a fair few, but the less-often used ones I don't always remember, and you could say just the same about bolding/quoting etc, easy enough to memorise and type if you really want to - it's a convenience thing.
