How to Post Pictures

There seem to be a few people that have trouble adding pictures to a post. So here is a simple walkthrough to enlighten you.

1. Sign up at an image hosting site - I reccommend photobucket. It's free and simple Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

2. This what what you should see once you have signed up.



3. Click the upload videos and images button, then using the popup box navigate to the picture on your computer. then click open.



4. You should see this screen once upload is complete, You can add tags and a description to your image, personally I dont bother. Click "save and return"



5. Move your curser over the image and a dropdown menu will appear with a bunch of links, select the link labelled "Direct link" and copy it.



6. In your posting box, you will see a small icon of what looks like a mountain (highlighted in the below image). click this and a pop up box will appear. Paste your link into this box and click O.K



7. Your post should now appear as shown below, you can now submit your thread / post or add more pictures if required.

Part 2: Adding pictures from your user photo album.

1. To access your profile album, click your name in the top right of the page, this will take you to your profile view.

2. On the right hand side, you will see a section named "Albums", click "View all albums"



3. Next steap is to create an album by clicking on "Add album" proceed to give the album a name and description and click "Save"



4. Now we can add pictures to the album, in the top left click "Upload pictures"



5. When the popup appears, navigate to a picture on your computer, then click open.



6. Now you can add a description to your uploaded image, select "Save" when done.



7. Open the picture you uploaded by clicking on it in your album, below the image should be 2 links. copy the "Picture URL" link.



8. In your posting box, you will see a small icon of what looks like a mountain (highlighted in the below image). click this and a pop up box will appear. Paste your link into this box and click O.K.



9. You can now submit your thread / post or add more pictures if required.
