ok guy's, i be having issues,
below is a pic of a error message being displayed on my pc, it happens when the pc is turned on ofcourse, and it happens to flash up every 5 to 10 minutes, regardless of internet activity.
is someone able to tell me what this error message means, it's on the bottom right of the pic i attatch here, yellow background with red writing. should i be concerned? should telstra get a call from me

I suggest trying AdAware dude, seems to me to be some kind of spyware.

Garth, Avast is just an anti-virus software package, and I think it's telling you that it's blocked a DCOM exploit attack, which is a good thing.. It says in the bottom right to 'click here to hide this message' or something similar if you don't want to see that alert again. If you're worried about hackers you could try Zonealarm for a free firewall..
If you go to google.com, and then type in AVG ....run the free version..also ...try typing in MICROSOFT ANTISPYWARE ........download that....
