I figure this may have already been raised, but my feedback on requirements for posting in trading is i think they are counterproductive.
Eg: I have a car for sale, for which i've needed some parts for, none of which i have been able to use this forum as a place for doing either.
That doesnt really worry me at all since ive advertised the car elsewhere and got all the parts ive needed from elsewhere, but i don't see how this helps forum members at all. It just restricts unnecessarily the numbers of buyers available on the forum, and also the number of people who advertise cars.
Not that this applies to me specifically, but from my experience on other car forums, some of the best cars for sale were advertised by people who had signed up just to post an add in a car trader section.

Agreed. Also since the seller is part of the community he/she is more likely to do the right thing by the buyer.
