JustCommodores has 2 methods of searching for threads, 1 is via the inbuilt vBulletin search function, the other is a Google search addon that allows you to use Google's index of pages to search for words just on the JustCommodores site. This how to will teach you how to use them.
I suggest people use the Google search function rather than the vBulletin one, purely because the vBulletin one sucks, and often brings up totally unrelated results.
Inbuilt Google Search: Recommended
1. Click the "Search" link in the navigation bar.
2. Beneath the heading "Search Google / Search Forums Using Google" you will see an input box and the button "Go", beneath that is the vBulletin Search function, ignore that.
3. Enter your search words and press "Go"
4. You should now see a list of results. search through these until you find what you after.
vBulletin Search: Beware - This search function sucks.
1. Click the "Search" link in the navigation bar
2. Select your search preferences. You can add the words you are searching for and also add filters such as: State Prefix, Particular Boards etc. When ready click "Search Now" *I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU CHOOSE TO SORT RESULTS BY RELEVANCY*
3. Your results will now be displayed
4. Sift through the pages until you find what you were looking for.
TVR-190: That LSD service paid off. Stato just got very sideways.
Grennan: In a stato, the term is held starboard.

Excellent work TVR! The builtin search for vB is rubbish to say the least, I have spent hours playing around with the settings but nothing seems to work hence why google is there which appears to work a little better.
