Altering TP rules @ mods

Hey all

I propose that we alter the TP rules to state that people cannot post "PM sent" or "PM replied". i see these posts as not really needed and chatting, and if this rule is passed that these messages will be treated the same as chatting, but with a 1 month period for people to get used to the new rule before infractions occur?

What do you guys think @ JC forum mods, TVR-161, STEALTHY and Grennan?

Doesnt matter, Posts in T/P dont count towards total so its not doing any harm.

I issue a fail on your idea. I personally sometimes ignore PM's because I just cant be bothered reading them, or they don't pop up or I forget etc. When he comes back and checks his thread and he sees "PM sent" it might remind him or let him know.

Grennan got it in one. Its a good reminder incase you miss it (or for those less computer illiterate, dont even have the notification show up....)

If someone is masking 'pm replied' into 40 posts a day, then it might be a problem, but i've only seen a few lately.

So, if 11 people replied to all your threads in the next few days (very unlikely i know, but humour me) with the right price you would buy all the items? Hope you have a decent sized bank account.....Especially for a 16 year old

I think what blown is saying is, lock all your threads, and make one big WTB thread with ALL the items you want in the first post

You can have an appropriate title saying all the info you need it to (ie WTB, dead V8s/buggy/BMW/everything else)
