IDEA: new post duplicate check

Would it be possible, when posting a new thread for there to exist a check to see if a similar thread already exists. Perhaps this 'feature' could be for people with less than x number of posts. This could limit parallel discussions on "can I chop my springs", "can I run my car on gas" or "my vn wont start".

Don't know if it is possible or even worth it, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

And no doubt this post itself is a duplicate.

Sounds a good idea but members could just use the search feature.. hell if everyone used the search feature this would never happen! Maybe we should be pushing for users to use the search feature
