Add a way to report nay-sayers

Im a student. I work bloody hard for little money. I love my car, and yes my parents help me buy it. Im only 19 and dont know everything in the entire world. Im on my green p's, cant drive over 100, cant drive supercharged/turbocharged/stroked V8 supercars as a daily.

When i come to Justcommodores.com.au and ask for help, i want help. not 100 posts telling me ''dont waste your time on a V6'' or ''Looks like shit"" or ""belongs on a ricer''

Obviously if i had all the money in the world and ruled the government id have blown V8s coming out my ass, but i dont. I can only drive a 6 and i can only do basic modifications.

If i ask for an opinion, i understand ill get some people who plain just dont like what i feel looks good. But theres a huge, obviouse difference between opinion and information.

I put forward to the admins of Justcommodores.com.au to impliment a way for users to report, block, etc those members who time and time again put there two cents where its just not needed, and in many cases they do this as they think it make them superior to the rest of us. If i want to add an exhaust to a V6, explain to me the best routes, people or brands to go to for information, or give me the information yourself. DONT tell me ''dont waste your money, itll always sound like a V6. Shit.'' I didnt ask for your opinion, i asked for information. None of our old school teachers told us we never needed to know something whenever we asked the question now did they?

I put this forward as ive spoken to plenty of people, lads and ladys alike, who have swapped to the aparent ''dark side'' into the realm of 4 cylinders, neons and cannon mufflers. If we look at the two side of the fence here, we can see just how much more accepted the little guy is in the feild of japanses high performance.
The Daihatsu Charade is one of the most underpowered, unimaganative designs in the world, but millions of people love and adore them, with some doing little more than throwing rims on them and going out and having fun.
The toyota AE86 again is not the fanciest looking car in the world, but in drift circles it is a machine, beating the aussie built Pontiac GTO in a number of Formula drift battles in the USA

But here in Justcommodore.com.au land, many people think that unless its big wheels, 8 cylinders and a bees dick off the ground it isnt workth the time or money to even walk past. In a time where police scare tatics are starting to make there mark, the younger guys, like me, of the commodore world will not bother trying to make it in a scene that does not like starting from the bottom.

This may be abit of a rant, but its becoming an issue. Its gone from joking to down right ridiculus. Strretcommodores.com.au implimented a system where non webbased free emails were allowed to register, therefore when someone was booted off it was very difficult for them to get back in. And its worked bigtime.

I believe that justcommodores.com.au should atleast try to fix this ongoing problem to its best ability, and other forfum mebers should help aswell. I love my holdens, i adore my V8s, but i drive a V6 Vy ute and personaliy id rather it than any other car on here. Give me and every other user to say this without fear of being degraded by other, idiot, lonley members

bottom left of every post is a triangle with a ! inside it. hit that button on any post you dont like, and itll report that post. any mod/admin can then decide what to do with the postee. you can also put members on an ignore list, cant remember how to do that though. but it will hide any posts from you that they make.

theres members like you describe on every forum, you should see the bmw forums i frequent!!!!! its just something you have to deal with.

just report the post, admin/mods will take a look into it should it be reported, othewise, how are we to know?
