how to get email notifications

how do i get email notifications when someone has replied to a thread?
looked in settings and cant see where to activate it

Hey mate,

I'm pretty sure the way to get email notifications is to subscribe to the thread. Pretty sure this is a process available to all members and not just admin/mod/etc. If not... ignore my post

To subscribe to a thread, select the 'Thread Tools' dropdown list in the bar that sits above the first post being displayed, in the dropdown there is a 'Subscribe to this Thread' option.

Also if you dont want to subscribe to every thread you make, you can go to your home page (By clicking your name in the top right hand corner) and then clicking on the left of that page Show All Started Threads.

I just keep a link to that Like this one in my top bar in firefox..
